Island Dog Training Club Obedience Shows 2008 (Affiliated to the Guernsey Kennel Club) 6 - 7 December |
Guernsey Kennel Club Christmas Mach Vale Douzaine Room 1.30 pm for a 2.00 pm start. A Feast of Festive Fun and Frolics for all the Family - and the dog! Match classes under UK judge, fancy dress, games, raffle, refreshments, etc. All class winners qualify for the 2009 Supermatch. Odd Brace Class Once again, there will be an 'Odd Brace' class. This is not the same as the 'Oddest Couple' class often seen at pet dog shows, where two handlers each have a unmatched dog. It is ONE handler with two unmatched dogs (which don't have to be in the same ownership) moving together as a brace. It is not a children's class, though junior handlers are welcome to enter. Fancy Dress Class The theme for the fancy dress class this year is 'The Night Before Christmas', so start planning your and your dog's outfit now as it's likely to be hotly contested! |
